Engineering Manager

is seeking an Engineering Manager to work with our West Virginia offices within our Transportation Business Unit.
The successful candidate will enjoy working in a challenging, fast-paced, and team-oriented environment that will utilize their related work experience to develop professionally into a well-rounded engineer with the ability to grow in today's global environment.
This position is eligible for our flexible hybrid or remote work schedules and a sign-on bonus.
Responsibilities:
Design and prepare plans and specifications for transportation structures, including highway and railroad bridges, retaining walls, box culverts, and other miscellaneous structures per AASHTO (The American Association of State Highway and Transportation)and WVDOH (West Virginia Division of Highways) requirements.
Perform work as part of a team or as a task/project manager, in accordance with the project budget and schedule under moderate supervision.
Prepare engineering cost estimates, the scope of work, and proposals and assist other Project/Task Managers with similar duties.
Provide leadership, direction, and technical guidance to the project team to ensure quality technical services.
Monitor and enforce compliance with established quality control standards.
Complete training on assigned tasks.
Participate in occasional site visits in an outdoor environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
A Master of Science in Structures is preferred.
Professional Engineering Licensure (PE) in West Virginia, or the ability to obtain a PE license within 6 months.
Experience with WVDOH standards, structural directives, specifications, and design manuals.
Experience with structural analysis and design programs for bridge design.
Proficiency in Midas, CSI Bridge, AashtoWare BrR, MDX, LEAP Conspan, and other design and rating software packages Excellent technical and interpersonal skills.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
